The house is on private property so you can’t go up to it and the area is extremely run down but it didn’t feel unsafe visiting. Worth a short detour to see. Full review by thewanderingmeatball

This is not a place you can get down and visit this is someone's private property but it's a unique and fun thing to see. If your driving down to see the old spanish fort this is a fun 5 to 10 minute… Full review by 171ellisf

I just saw it yesterday. It’s beautiful! The surrounding looks like a fishing village with the nostalgic flair. DEFINITELY WORTH THE DRIVE if you are in NOLA. Full review by cyrahsmom
